Emilio Vallejo, S.A. participates in a consortium project for the development of functional food from the olives.
The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness has granted the aid requested through the FEDER INTERCONECTA program for the execution of a project in consortium with the companies Elayotecnia, Acer Campestres, CM Europa led by Emilio Vallejo, S.A.
The project aims to obtain new olive oils and new functional ingredients with nutraceutical properties from the olives, so that these can be used massively by food, dietetic, health and well-being industry, in the development of different functional products.
The FEDER – INTERCONECTA program is an initiative of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), to finance I+D+i projects in cooperation of a strategic and large nature in areas with economic and commercial projection at an international level.
